RHS Harlow Carr 

26th September

Harlow  Carr Gardens situated to the west of Harrogate, a stunning collection of Horticultural delights set in 58 acres of woodland and herbaceous displays. Once the pride of the Northern Horticultural Society, then in 2001 merged with the RHS to further develop into a showcase you can enjoy today. Onsite restaurant with "Betty's" a traditional Yorkshire catering specialist, return home direct mid-afternoon.

Bakewell Market & Peak Village 

28th September

Visiting the largest market in the Derbyshire Dales. Bakewell stall market occupies two sites and has 162 regular stalls. The stall market dates from the 1920 s. The current day market has a wide variety of clothes, bed linen, shoes, fruit & veg, freshly baked bread, flowers, jewellery, wool, toys and hot food stands, everything for the intrepid shopper. Also, the town has some interesting local shops to explore and not to forget the Original Bakewell Pudding Shop, for a tasty treat. Early afternoon make our way to Peak Village outlet, for some further retail therapy & more breath-taking Derbyshire countryside, return home direct.



The Princess River Cruise Experience

26th or 30th October

Over to Nottingham today for a leisurely cruise along the river. Enjoy a comfortable 2-hour cruise along the River Trent taking in the views of the surrounding historic city. Appreciate a Traditional Roast Dinner whilst onboard the vessel, including complimentary hot drinks whilst sailing along the river and taking in all of its seasonal glory. The cruise will include "CRUISE N DINE EXPERIENCE"  a 2-course roast dinner to enjoy whilst cruising the Trent - (not included in price).



Barnsley Market

28th October

Barnsley s famous market is over 700 years old with over 300 stalls in outdoor & indoor areas. Great place for anything and everything, including fresh meats, fish, vegetables, cosmetics, handicrafts, hardware, flowers etc, plus ample opportunity for a coffee and a friendly chat! Nearby the high street shops for further retail opportunities. Return home direct.



City of York & McArthur Glen Outlet

31st October

An opportunity today to visit this fine city, with the fair amount of its Roman walls still intact. The City Centre

 is a warren of cobbled street overlooked by the Gothic-style York Minster cathedral, known for its stained glass windows. Family-friendly attractions include JORVIK Viking  Centre, with Old Norse dioramas, and recreated Victorian streets in the Castle Museum, the Tudor-era Shambles is a quaint lane with Boutiques, antique shops and chocolatiers, plus daily market. Traditional pubs & taverns line the River Ouse. Or to embrace the City's rich history either a River cruise or guided open-top bus is a must (subject to availability). We then make our way home via the MacArthur Glen Outlet for further retail opportunities. Depart home late afternoon. 



Simply Christmas, Hobbycrafts

7th November

A creative festival celebrating all things crafts & wonderful. Stunning exhibitions, skilled demonstrations, the full programme of textile workshops and advice. A fun friendly atmosphere, Full list of exhibitors available nearer on their website Explore the halls for bargains, demonstrations and good advice in this premier Event in the crafter's calendar. Due to COVID restrictions, maybe a timed entry, more details nearer the event.

Castle Howard Festive Treat

14th November

Up to North Yorkshire, enjoy a truly magical day out as Castle Howard is transformed for the festive season. Our late summertime return to YORKSHIRE, firstly to Featherstone & the VICTORIA GARDEN CENTRE, for a brief look @ their retail opportunities & a morning coffee before making the short journey along the M62 to the Yorkshire Mill, BATLEY, a popular venue with all our friends over the years, with 4 floors of bargains galore, served by a lift & 3 escalators. with good catering facilities on all levels. They have a meet & greet service for groups, which is always appreciated, and usually offer our friends discount vouchers to help with their purchases, we then return home direct late afternoon.



Whitby & Pickering 

3rd October

Our Saturday visit to the North Yorkshire fishing town of Whitby, renowned still for the fishing industry, with fresh Whitby scampi always available, along with the popular "smoked kippers". Free time to browse the local shops and ginnels for bargains, sample some local Fish & Chips, on our return after a picturesque ride through the moors it is time to stop for free time in Pickering. Time for a brew at the home of the North Yorks Steam Railway. Return home direct late afternoon.



Eden Camp & Thornton Dale

27th October

Through the Yorkshire Wolds to Malton, to the Eden Camp. A modern history museum, dedicated to the memories of WWII. You will have the opportunity at leisure to explore around a dozen of the former WW2 prisoner of war huts, which have been carefully re-modelled and transformed to recreate the atmosphere of WW2, with scenes of the blitz, operation's room, living quarters of the 1930's, various army vehicles, uniforms, wax models of Winston Churchill & Field Marshall Montgomery also with his staff car etc. Refreshments & hot food available in the NAAFI. Return home via Thornton Le Dale.

Skegness & Ingoldmells

Over to the seaside town of Skegness today for a chance to explore the popular resort. Take a walk along the sandy beach or grab a bite to eat along the seafront. Then onto Ingoldmells market, Europe's biggest 7-day market, the 320 stores include fashions, gifts & toys, home, garden and many more. Return home direct.



Batley Mill Outlet

2nd November

Our winter return visit to the Yorkshire Mill Batley for a spot of pre-Christmas shopping, popular with our friends over the years, with bargains galore on 3 floors, with good cafeteria facilities on most levels. They have a meet and greet service which is always appreciated, and usually offer our friends discount vouchers to help with their purchases, we then return home direct mid-afternoon.



Chatsworth House Festive Treat & Farmshop

11th November

The Duchess of Devonshire, once again extends the house opening in fine festive Spirit, with craft stalls & rustic decorations + the huge Christmas tree in the Grand Hall at Chatsworth house, restaurant & shop will be open also includes a visit around the garden, gathering their winter colours. To the house we call via the Chatsworth Farm Shop on the outskirts of the estate, for morning coffee, a browse around the ample stocked farm shop, with fresh produce from the gardens, bakery & butchery departments. We return home direct late afternoon.

  • No refunds given unless the seat is successfully resold. Less administration fee.

  • Unless numbers reach minimum loading, then 5 days notice will be given and a full refund or credit note will be issued.

  • Pick up points are set, further pick up points required may be subject to a surcharge, this also applies to drop off points, subject to driver's hours regulations, there may be occasion where additional pick/drop points cannot be change.
